Our Washington, DC chapter of SMPS DC has grown to more than 200 members - and in celebrating our 40 years this year, we want to ensure that each one of you is getting the most out of your membership with SMPS.
We know that you get your weekly and monthly emails from us so you know about all our events and member news and we know that you are obsessively checking our social media posts for the latest updates - but are you engaging beyond that? Well - now is the time friends!
We have created and launched a member engagement path just for you - no matter what level of your career you are in. As a member of the Washington, DC chapter of SMPS, you have many opportunities for education, networking, professional development and growth. Explore the paths of member engagement based on your level of experience and get more engaged with the chapter today!
There are four levels of engagement paths based on years of experience:
Entry Level - 0 - 4 years
Mid Level - 4 - 8 years
Senior Level - 8 -15 years
Expert Level - 15+ years
As you grow and advance in your career, opportunities within SMPS change and escalate opening up leadership opportunities on our Board of Directors as well as volunteer opportunities at the National level.
We have heard from many members that their most rewarding experiences have been getting involved in committees, planning programs, and earning their CPSM certification!
